From Tragedy Faith

"What made the difference for Weaver-Balter? A passage of Scripture that she memorized as a child: "God loved the world so very, very much that he gave his only Son. Because he did that, everyone who believes in Him will not lose his life, but will live for ever (John 3:16)."

As a Believer, I note that we are called to forgive. How can you be forgiven if you do not forgive? But forgiving is not forgetting. And, there is a price to be paid. Spiritually, The Messiah paid that price for Believers. On Earth, however, you still have to pay your own way.

I am sensing from his writings, that Ruby Ridge foreshadowed the issues we have today with the over usage of SWAT teams, no knock raids, puppycide, and Contempt of Cop.

Shooting the boy's pet dog is what started the bloodshed at Ruby Ridge. If you have trouble enforcing the law because of a dog, beat him off with your baton ...
