We are used to things like attempted murder, attempted robbery. But in these cases there is a victim.
What will be the ruling on things like "child porn" when the image is simply a drawing - no real child. When it is a computer aided drawing - super realistic?
The zeal to prosecute must not get ahead of the reality. Convict on a real crime.
